These double squares are invaluable tools for setting up machinery and performing a wide range of shop layout tasks. Manufactured to the exacting EEC Class 1 accuracy standards, they are guaranteed to be square within a remarkable 0.002 inches (two-thousandths of an inch) over the entire length of each blade.
The blades are crafted from hardened and tempered stainless steel, featuring a satin chrome finish that is free of glare. The precision photo-etched markings are then filled with black for exceptional readability. The blades are marked with quick-reading 4R graduations, offering 1/64th and 1/32nd increments on one side, and 1/8th and 1/16th increments on the reverse.
The square heads are meticulously cast and precision-machined, with a distinctive cobalt blue color. These heads lock down securely via a locking knob, ensuring a tight and reliable hold.
For convenience, the squares are packaged in a sturdy cardboard box. They are available in two blade lengths: 4 inches or 6 inches.
